Uniuyo Academic Calendar2017/18 Academic Session

The Management of the University of Uyo has released the academic calendar for its 2017/2018 Academic session of the University of Uyo

The calendar, a copy was obtained by the director of information Inyene Dominic  today and has been released to all new and old students of the university of uyo.

The office of the Director of information, Student Union Government released the academic calendar for all students of the Tuskite republic.

According to the calendar, Students of the school are expected to resume school on the 2^nd of October 2017.  This is the official resumption date for the new academic session of first semester. This resumption date only affects all old students.

Registration without penalty starts on the 2nd and will end on the 13th all in the months of September. It should be noted that registration with penalty starts on the 16th of October and will move through 20^th ending on the 27^th of October 2017.

Registration without penalty will automatically end on the 31^st of October 2017 except on the schools approval to extend the closing date.
The school is equally expected to go for mid break and a vacation between and vacate on December  23^rd for the Christmas break.
The calendar further stated that schools would resume on January 9, 2017 from the Christmas break for the commencement of the second term.
“Schools will proceed for mid-term break on February 23 and 24 2017 and vacate for the term on Monday, April 3, 2017,” said the government.

The school shall proceed, starting its lectures on the 9^th of October and this only apply to Lectures for returning students commences on the 9th of October. Lectures will move on for 13 weeks after which will end with a free week for revision.

COMMENCEMENT OF 2017/18 ACADEMIC SESSION FOR RETURNING STUDENTS

This is to inform the entire University Community that the 2017/18 Academic Session commences on 0ctober 2nd, 2017 for returning students.
Registration without penalty starts on the 2nd and ends on the 13th while registration with penalty starts on the 16th of October and ends on the 27th.

Registration for first semester ends on the 31st of October.
Lectures for returning students commences on the 9th of October.
