Federal Road Safety Corps FRSC

Federal Road Safety Corps is the Government Agency with statutory responsibilities for road safety administration in Nigeria. Founded in 1988, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) operates in all Nigerian states as well as the Federal Capital Territory and is the lead agency in Nigeria on road safety administration and management. The statutory functions include: Making the highways safe for motorists and other road users as well as checking road worthiness of vehicles, recommending works and infrastructures to eliminate or minimize accidents on the highways and educating motorists and members of the public on the importance of road discipline on the highways.

Federal Road Safety Corps Recruitment Educational Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) credits in SSCE (WAEC/NECO) or NABTEB, two of the subjects must be English Language and Mathematics.
• Candidates must not be more than 27 years of age.

Federal Road Safety Corps Recruitment Requirements

Below is the requirement by the federal road safety corps for the recruitment of officers 2018

• Applicant must be a Nigerian citizen by birth
• Applicants should not be less than 18 yrs or more than 27yrs of age at the time of applicant.
• Relationship Status of the applicant must be single.
• Applicant’s height must not be less than 1.68 metres for male and 1.63 metres for female
• Applicant’s chest measurement must not be less than 0.87 metres, i.e for men only
• Applicant must possess both physical and mental fitness for activities
• Applicant must have a good doctor clearance report from any approved government hospital to ascertain his/her health.
• Applicant must be of a good conduct and behavior and must not have a criminal record.

Federal Road Safety Corps Recruitment Other Requirements

• Computer literacy and possession of valid driver’s license is an added advantage
• Any certificate or qualification not declared or tendered at the time of recruitment process cannot be subsequently presented for career progression in the corps
• Anyone found to have submitted false document would be disqualified and prosecuted
• Application must be done once.
• Shortlisted applicant would be required to take a computer-based examination to be conducted by JAMB
• Shortlisted applicant must carry out drug test with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA)
• Shortlisted candidates are expected to come along with a print out of their forms as well as the acknowledge
