Yobe State University 2018 Cut off Mark for all courses has been announced. Due to the increasing need for information regarding Yobe State University 2018 Cut off Mark, we wish to bring to the notice of all prospective candidates who sat for the 2018 Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Examination of the approved cut off mark of YSC.

Candidates upon meeting the required cut off mark set by JAMB will be qualified for the Post UTME Screening test which will be announced by the school.

Also, note that beating the JAMB and post UTME cut off mark does not imply automatic admission into Yobe State University (YSU) as this depends on the quota for each department.

The Yobe State University (YSU) has their departmental cut off marks which candidates applying for various each departments must meet the departmental cut off mark.

Scoring high during the JAMB examination isn’t a sure guarantee for admission into Yobe State University, but it also triggers the possibility of gaining admission.

Yobe State University 2018 Cut off Mark | Preparing for Screening

Before appearing at the venue of screening, there are some important documents candidates should carry along. These items are always mandatory to be presented to the Screening Officers.

1. Print out of Original copy of JAMB admission letter
2. Print out of Original and photocopies of candidate’s JAMB result slip
3. Recent passport photographs with red background
4. Original Birth Certificate or Valid Age Declaration
5. Original and photocopies of O’level certificates – minimum of 5 credits in Mathematics and English and other relevant subjects obtained in not more than two (2) sittings
6. Cases of awaiting result are not welcome.

Note: Successful candidates will have to wait for the Yobe State University admission list which is always released by the school after post UTME screening. Therefore candidates whose name appears on the list are those offered admission into the school and will be required to pay non-refundable acceptance fee to show seriousness and readiness on the part of the students.

The acceptance fee doesn’t have anything to do with the school fees, as I said earlier, the acceptance fees is to prove your response, readiness and seriousness regarding the admission. Note that admission can be terminated if candidates fail to pay their acceptance fees.
