 Why Uniport Revised its Academic calendar

I walked into a friend who was now working on the boutique as a sales representative and this pushed me to ask about his present in a boutique. He was supposed to be in the four walls of the University and not trading on clothes but unfortunately he was working in a boutique.

When the Question arose on why he is working in a shop as sale representative because I was sure he was not doing IT (Industrial Attachment) neither did he graduate.

His response was that Assu did not only Strike, but they made changes too

I was stroked by his answer and I thought of it twice and I came to a conclusion that ASUU Strike has made changes in all sectors including school’s academic calender

Following the recent Strike action by the academic staff Union of University, the proposed School calendar for the University of Portharcourt was tempered, thereby interrupting academic activities of the School and this resulted in the shift of some academic programmes set aside by the school management. This occurrence led to the interruption of major academic activities in the school bringing about some setbacks in academic activities.
