Most Uber drivers in Abuja are defrauding your customers on the airport route. I book a ride to the Abuja airport from Maitama and the fare is N3,300.00 only but the driver arrives and says he will only go to the airport for N5,000 only.
Today 6th September 2018 I refused to pay N5k as requested by the driver and ask him to cancel the ride which he refused to do thereby making me pay the N400 cancellation fee to the next driver who took me to the airport.
I have this unfortunate experience 90% of the time when going to the airport. I am going to stop using Uber for this reason if nothing is done about it.
