Eligibility and Requirements for nnpc/total scholarship 2020 for Undergraduate
- Application is for all those that are running a full-time programme in only accredited universities
- An application must be a Nigerian and will have to possess a National Id card
- Applicants for the 2020 NNPC/Total Scholarship must have a students ID card and a passport photograph.
- Candidates should be of a précised course from 100 and 200 level.
- The required CGPA is 3.00 and above and those having less will not be qualified.
- All those who are currently benefiting from an already existing scholarship should not apply for the scholarship.
- Candidates applying for nnpc/total scholarship 2020 should have a matriculation number and are legal students of these institutions.
- Only those running full-time degree programmes are eligible to apply for the scholarship
- Payments will be made to the applicant’s account with their names.
- Awardees will only continue this scheme if continued in same high academic performance

Candidates should note that all those that are applied with incomplete documents will be disqualified in the scheme. Beneficiaries are allowed to maintain this scholarship until upon graduation from their school.

The nnpc/total scholarship 2020 is not different from other years, but these years own might take the CBT format.
Applicants studying unaccredited courses will be disqualified from the scheme as only full times and applicants of sandwiched programmes or Pre-degree/Basic studies.
Candidates who are currently benefiting from the same scholarship scheme will not be shortlisted and will be disqualified from the scheme
NNPC Scholarship Amount
just like the MTN Foundation scholarship, For 2020, we are not yet sure of how much the scholarship is for but other years had paid an increasingly better amount of money to the students for their educational fare.
For the moments, the current amount paid to the candidate’s account is one hundred and Fifty thousand naira only (N1050,000) per anum.
Candidates will receive this amount in the same account every year for the period of their academic year.
nnpc/total scholarship 2020 Closing date
This nnpc/total scholarship 2020 has the last day of this month as the closing date as applicants should apply before the 31st of this month when the portal will close for the 2020 recruitment applicants are encouraged to use the application portal to be able to register for an account with the Nigerian National Petroleum Commission recruitment.
You should note that once the application portal has closed, there will not be any opening in the Application portal for the registration and we urge all applicants to register on time to avoid certain complications.
Once the application portal has been closed, applicants will await notification for examination and the examination will be written in a CBT format and strict adherence to the COVID 19 preventive guidance will be checked by applicants.

2020 information to Scholarship Applicants
- Candidates will only be selected based on merit and no special or favourite candidates for nnpc recruitment.
- The full list of shortlisted candidates will be published on the internet and applicants will be notified through their mail.
- This application portal is open for a specific period and shortlisted candidates will receive their funds on their private bank account upon seeing their names in the merit list for the nnpc/total scholarship 2020 application.
- All Nigerians are eligible for this recruitment both for those in the oil-producing states and non-oil producing states in Nigeria.
