How to Calculate Your FULOKOJA  Post-UTME Aggregate Score

In order to calculate your FULOKOJA  post-utme aggregate score, the formula adopted by the institution is the sum of your UTME SCORE divided by 8 and your POST UTME SCORE divided by 2.

For instance:

if you scored 290 in UTME and went on to score 70 in POST UTME,your aggregate score will be calculated thus:

UTME Score = 290/8 =36.25
Post UTME Score = 70/2 =35

Aggregate Score =36.25 + 35 =71.25%

Federal University, Lokoja (FULOKOJA ) authorities and management hereby informs all members of the general public especially the 2019/2020 aspirants that wish to be admitted into the institution for the 2019/2020 academic session and Post UTME candidates as well as their parents and guardians that:

1) Of the 31, 955 candidates who scored 200 and above in the 2019/2020 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Unified Tertiary Examinations (UTME) and chose Federal University, Lokoja   as their first choice institution, 26,732 candidates registered for the post-UTME screening exercise for admissions into Federal University, Lokoja   for the 2019/2020 session.

2) The screening exercise was carried out in the school premises.

3) 17,935 candidates passed the screening test with a minimum score of 40%. 309 candidates did not show up for the test while 118 candidates were disqualified for failure to follow the instructions for the Computer Based Test (CBT).

4) 393 result s were initially withheld on suspicion of malpractices. On further scrutiny, 271 of these result s have been confirmed as cases involving malpractices and continue to be withheld for further investigation. The remaining 122 result s have been released.

5) The cut-off marks for admissions into the various programmes offered by the University have since been released on the University website. All candidates are advised to visit the University website www.unilag.edu.ng for the cut-off marks and individual scores.

6) The Federal University, Lokoja   does not require any additional payments in respect of admission. Any request made by anyone for payment for assistance for admission is fraudulent. For emphasis, CANDIDATES ARE ADVISED NOT TO MAKE ANY PAYMENT TO ANYONE FOR ANY PURPOSE RELATED TO ADMISSIONS.

7) Anyone found to be involved in any form of solicitation, giving or receiving money or benefit of any kind with respect to facilitating admissions into the Federal University, Lokoja   will be reported to the appropriate law enforcement agent. Additionally, candidates found to have offered or given money or benefit in kind for admission into the University will be disqualified from admission.

8) Candidates are hereby advised to desist from seeking information and any other form of assistance in relation to admissions from sites other than the university official website

FULOKOJA  2019/2020 Post-UTME Candidates Complain Over Withheld Results

Some candidates that participated in the 2015 post-UTME screening if the Federal University, Lokoja   are agitating over the refusal of the university to releases their result s.

According to some of the candidates that commented, there was a power outage during the examination which automatically logged them out and was not rectified. This they believe must have been the reason for their result s being withheld.

While reacting to this the Head, Information Unit of the university, Mr. Olagoke Oke agreed that there was a power outage but insisted that it was restored and the candidates were given extra time to finish their exams.

“It (outage) was a general complaint. Power was restored and they were given extra time. About 32,000 candidates sat for the examination. Some candidates had problems because they were not familiar with online tests. Some were challenged because there was no paper test. All the result s were released except for the result s of less than 200 candidates,” he said.
