BREAKING : ASUU SUSPENDS STRIKE NEXT WEEK

The Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, said on today Thursday 17th August, 2017 that the on-going strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, the umbrella body of all University lecturers in the Nigeria would be called off next week.

Speaking by the minister of education Adamu at the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja when he availed himself to the Sen. Jibrin Barau, APC, Kano North led Senate Committee on Tertiary Institutions and TETFUND, the minister disclosed that executive arm of government has commenced plans to ensure that it comply with the agreement between the federal government and ASUU.

Sen. Jibrin Barau, commended the minister of education for the efforts by his ministry towards ensuring that the situation at hand (ASUU Strike) is solved and the indefinite strike is called off.
